Scorpion PT Gold Polymer Tip Bullets are electroplated with copper plating that does not separate from lead core as most jacketed bullets. The end result is better penetration needed for one shot kills. The PT Gold offers greater accuracy at longer ranges than a hollow point. The 3% antimony makes the bullet harder than pure lead and is intended for the shooter who wants a bone breaking, pass through shot.

    Devastating hemorrhaging!

I have now killed a good number of whitetails with the 260gr. Scorpion PT. The carnage they create is superb. The weight retention on recovered bullets has been great around 80%. I weigh all bullets as I pull loads together and they are fairly consistent. With polymer tip they average 262.8 gr. Lightest I’ve had is 261.9 heaviest has been 263.8 I have my Accura LR sighted in at 100 and with a BDC mark on my scope these can produce 2.5” groups at 200yrds paired with Blackhorn 209 and CCi 209M primers.

    Accuracy

My friend and I have been using the Harvester bullets and sabots for several years. These bullets and Blackhorn 209 powder are the best.

Bullets shoot very good at 100 yards. At 150 yards there’s a 4” spread on the group using 115 grains of FFg 777 powder. The group starts to open up after 150 yards.

    Deadly bullet

I've been shooting these bullets for three years and taken several whitetail with them. So far, they've performed very well, and my Accura seems to really like them as well.
